Ruoff Music Center Show Portable Restroom Service Technician
Job Summary:
The Role:
The Portable Restroom Service Technician is responsible for delivering, servicing, cleaning, and maintaining portable restroom units at customer sites. This role ensures all units are sanitary, fully stocked, properly positioned, and meet company and health standards. The position requires physical work, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety. This is a part-time, hourly position.
Job Functions:
- Deliver, set up, and retrieve portable restroom units throughout venue and parking areas
- Clean, sanitize, and service units according to company and health guidelines
- Pump waste tanks and properly dispose of waste
- Refill supplies such as tissue paper, hand sanitizer, and water
- Inspect units for damage and report needed repairs
- Secure units to prevent tipping or movement
- Safely operate service trucks and equipment
- Follow all safety, environmental, and DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate service logs and route documentation
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers and site personnel
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (commercial license a plus, if applicable)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment (typically up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently
- Basic mechanical skills preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sanitation, waste services, delivery, or construction-related roles
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Exposure to waste materials and cleaning chemicals
- Frequent bending, lifting, and climbing in and out of service vehicles
