Risk Manager:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead risk management activities for one of the largest Federal health IT deployments in the nation. In this role, you will support the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program by identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring technical and programmatic risks across multiple deployment waves. This position plays a critical part in ensuring service delivery excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness for a high‑visibility, mission‑critical federal program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide risk management expertise to ensure program deliverables comply with applicable regulations, policies, and quality standards.
• Identify and analyze technical risks associated with system architecture, integration, implementation schedules, data migration, and deployment plans.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a Comprehensive Risk Management Plan and program‑wide risk register.
• Recommend, implement, and monitor mitigation strategies for technical and programmatic risks.
• Prepare and present clear, data‑driven risk reports, dashboards, trend analyses, and executive briefings.
• Support program governance forums, including Risk Review Boards and Program Management Reviews.
• Promote awareness and understanding of compliance requirements, risk policies, and quality processes across project teams.
• Execute organizational risk and quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with program goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive operational effectiveness and proactively anticipate emerging risks.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting large‑scale federal IT programs, preferably within health IT or EHR modernization.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance processes, and federal compliance requirements.
• Ability to assess complex technical risks related to architecture, integration, and deployment planning.
• Demonstrated experience developing risk management plans, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience preparing risk dashboards, reports, and executive‑level briefings.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, program managers, and senior leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
