As a Financial Accountant for DHL Supply Chain, you will make a significant as you provide accurate financial information and analysis to guide the financial decisions of the business. As part of a high performing team, you will take ownership of Tax Accounting, Treasury Governance, Procure‑to‑Pay (PTP) oversight, Financial Accounting, and Continuous Process Improvement. The role addresses current capability gaps and mitigates operational, compliance, and reporting risks while supporting scalability for future growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring internal controls, compliance and statutory reporting requirements are meet at a state and federal level
  • Partnering with the business operations to analyse and make recommendations for solutions and continuous improvement
  • Utilise your commercial acumen to develop strategic plans for the DHL Supply Chain business
  • Develop financial plans, budgets and forecasts to align with sector and company objectives
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance to support decision-making processes

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional accreditations, CA or CPA
  • Proven experience within a similar, high volume, fast-paced role, ideally within the transport or logistics industry
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards
