Research Scientist
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist to join our Biochemistry & Biophysics team based in Munich, Germany. Collaborating closely with various departments at Crelux, you will work on biophysical / biochemical projects covering a wide variety of target classes and modalities.
Responsibilities
- You will work independently and as part of the biophysics & biochemistry team
- Perform protein QC, biophysical and biochemical assays as, MST, Spectral Shift, SPR, fluorescence based biochemical assays as HTRF.
- Establish, prepare and revise standard operating procedures
- Provide documentation of raw data, support data evaluation and reporting of results and troubleshooting
- Careful documentation of experimental work according to internal guidelines and specifications
- Contribute to development of new methods and assays and optimize existing processes
- Address and solving problems within area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Lab Technician, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar)
- Practical laboratory experience in an industrial or academic setting
- Ideally experience in biophysical & biochemical assays as SPR, MST, DLS, DSF, FP, ITC, HTRF, Fluorescence Based Assays
- Fluent spoken and written English and (ideally) German; fluency in Chinese is an advantage
- Good command of MS Office
- Interest in new methodologies and techniques
