The Mouw Laboratory at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA is looking for an exceptional post-doctoral candidate interested in studying the role of DNA repair pathway alterations in tumor biology and therapy response. The laboratory uses a combination of genomic and functional approaches and is broadly interested in understanding how DNA damage and repair processes interact to drive genomic instability, tumor evolution, and treatment resistance. Much of our early work has focused on genitourinary malignancies, including bladder and prostate cancer, but we are interested in the role of DNA repair across tumor types.

The Post-doctoral fellow will be part of a rich intellectual and collaborative environment and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities within the laboratory, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, and other top academic institutions across the Boston Area.

 Desired Skills And Experience
* The candidate should have recently received a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and independent, yet willing to collaborate with other team members and eager to develop and pursue a novel research program.
* A strong background in molecular biology/ cell biology/ biochemistry/ cancer biology
* A background of scientific accomplishment including at least one first author peer-reviewed publication
* Evidence of oral and written communication skills in English.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
