Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, provide research assistance to implement and complete population and public health projects. Essential Job Functions: Perform clinical/population science (human subjects) research. Conduct eligibility screening for potential research participants on the Wayne Health Mobile Units, obtain informed consent, and collect research data according to study protocol. Participate in implementing research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and protocol guidelines. Assist staff with experiments/research protocols as required. Communicate with principal investigator and Postdoctoral scholars/fellows on the status of research. Collect and log laboratory results, clinical outcomes and/or follow-up research survey data. Proofread and edit research documents and data to ensure accuracy. Perform other related duties as assigned.
