1.TEAM OBJECTIVE
To ensure that we load correctly, manifest and ultimately dispatch all contracted vehicles for the purpose of delivery to our customers
according to S.O.P’s.
2. PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
To take ownership in the running of the day to day dispatch operation. To be a focal point for the dispatch team and to ensure that they
are undertaking their responsibilities and duties as required. To guide and lead the team to get the best performance.
3. KEY STAKEHOLDERS / WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Main Internal Relationships:
Finance Manager, QA Manager, IT Manager, Customer Service Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager,
Distribution Manager
Main External Relationships:
Customer, Warehouse Team
4. KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Dispatch Manager is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
• Ensure that all staff work to their allocated shift and perform duties to the standard required.
• Maintain the companies’ standards in relation to H&S, Housekeeping, Food Safety, Accuracy, Discipline and Performance.
• Delegate and Prioritise duties to achieve objectives.
• Recognise and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Ensure all outbound paperwork is accurate and recorded correctly.
• Ensure all orders are completed and systems updated accordingly.
• Provide dispatch based information for daily meetings.
• Ensure all records electronic and paper are being maintained and recorded correctly.
• Ensure Discipline and Standards are maintained and any breeches of said standards are dealt with as per the companies Disciplinary
Procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by their Operations Manager.

Knowledge & Experience:
•A good working knowledge of a warehouse / dispatch operation
•A good working knowledge of I.M.S/W.M.S / R.F / COMMS}. systems
•Experience in creating clear and concise reports.
•Possess a driving license with matching years of experience
