Amazon is looking for a results-oriented individual to optimize our renewable energy portfolio and execute strategy to deliver 100% renewable energy to our data center infrastructure in India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing renewable projects and maximizing performance of our assets. The ideal candidate will have wholesale energy market knowledge, analytical skill set, and experience with renewable projects.


Key job responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day activities related to Amazon’s renewable energy portfolio
• Develop and execute strategies to improve renewable revenues in Asia Pacific, with a focus on India
• Execute transactions related to renewable optimization
• Support in structuring and negotiating renewable power purchase agreements in Asia Pacific
• Analysis of energy industry trends, market policy and regulations

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics or other related fields
- 3+ years of experience with renewable and energy markets
- 2+ years of experience trading wholesale power

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- 5+ years of experience in energy markets or power trading
- Experience with utility scale renewable project development, power forecasting and scheduling, portfolio management theory and wholesale power market operations
- Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as IEX, CERC, distribution companies and renewable project developers
