Accountabilities

Build high-performing cloud data solutions for analytical and BI reporting needs.

Design and operate secure, scalable cloud data pipelines.

Integrate new data sources into a central data warehouse.

Identify and implement internal process improvements for efficiency.

Manage and enhance a shared data lake for decision-making support.

Implement data governance best practices across pipelines.

Partner with teams to understand needs and develop solutions.

Coach and mentor junior data engineers.

Manage and visualize data for collaborative analytics.

Participate in support roles during business hours.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Python and SQL, cloud experience preferred (Azure or AWS).

Hands-on knowledge of data security and compliance methodologies.

Experience in creating data-intensive distributed solutions.

Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.

Experience in data analytics architectures in cloud environments.

Knowledge of data governance best practices.

Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI workflows.

Experience in Event Streaming Platforms and data pipeline orchestration tools.

Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Spark.

Experience in containerized environments like Docker or Kubernetes.
