Relationship Manager - Maternity Cover (FTC)

As Relationship Manager, you will drive merchant advocacy and customer engagement within our Mid-Market book of business by acquiring, retaining and growing customer portfolio’s. This role is a blend of sales and retention, the most successful in Relationship Managers will be able to balance their time and turn retention conversations into sales conversations by tying customers into long term deals through the selling of new products and services.
What you’ll own
- You will act as a main point of contact to a portfolio of circa 200 accounts.
- Protect and grow net revenue within your portfolio through customer retention and cross sell activity.
- Reduce attrition and limit giveaway when a review is undertaken.
- Ensure contracts are in place and up to date to drive customer retention.
- Increase product penetration and achieve cross sell target
What you bring:
- Experience in a telephony-based customer contact position.
- You’ll be confident influencing and negotiating with customers when advising them about our products and services.
- This is a target-based role. It’ll require you to be well organised, self-motivated and tenacious. The information can be complex, so you’ll have a flare for helping the customer understand.
- Knowledge and experience of Excel and Salesforce.
- Experience in managing a portfolio and an individual sales targets are essential
