Wentworth Health Partners Cardiovascular Group provides expert care from fellowship-trained, board-certified vascular specialists. Our team works closely with experienced doctors, nurses, technologists, and clinicians at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
We treat all aspects of vascular health using both minimally invasive and traditional surgical options. With advanced imaging and modern endovascular technology, we focus on accurate diagnosis and effective treatment to support the best possible outcomes for each patient.
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse to support our Vascular Surgery team. This role consists of 8-hour shifts staggered between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The primary location for this position is 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, with occasional cross-coverage at our Portsmouth, NH practice located at 67 Corporate Drive.
Our vascular surgery program is experiencing significant growth, with plans to expand services to a second Portsmouth location to enhance patient access and meet increasing demand. The practice operates within a multidisciplinary, team-based care model, fostering close collaboration among physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and medical assistants to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
This role will also collaborate with the Mass General Heart and Vascular Institute to support ongoing program development and growth.
Job Summary
Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions:
-Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
-Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred
Experience
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Strongly preferred qualifications include prior experience in Vascular Surgery and/or Medical–Surgical settings, as well as outpatient clinical experience. Experience with care coordination and proficiency in EPIC are also highly desirable.
