Regional Sales Manager
Role & responsibilities
- Plans and executes sales targets, Account Receivables and after sales service support activities for a defined product or service-portfolio, in a West Region (India) in order to increase sales, provide customer satisfaction through prompt support to customers in the regions and to achieve defined commercial targets related to Account Receivables.
- Plans sales volumes and potential of all potential customers (e.g. Indian Railway/ Govt PSU type customers) in the region assigned.
- Manages Sales, Service & commercial teams.
- Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning.
- Analyzes the specific market conditions (KB Product Install Base Maintenance procedure & practices of end user, Prescribed maintenance schedules), and builds a sound market related network of stakeholders.
Preferred candidate profile
B. Tech (electrical/electronics) + MBA with 15-20 experience of institutional sales, warranty support & handling of account receivables.
- Develop and implement regional strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional management teams.
- Analyze regional market trends and adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other regional heads and senior management to align on company goals.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
