As the Receiving Inspector I, you will be responsible for:

• Provide QE/Engineering interpretation: Provide interpretation of design and quality requirements and ensure accurate understanding of requirements.  Ensure any formal direction is appropriately documented. Able to understand technical requirements and understand organizational challenges and recommendations and engage with engineering, procurement, and other functional disciplines to resolve issues.
• Perform Inspectability Review of Design: Review engineering, process, and production requirements and assess such against the known capability to inspect/test product at the appropriate point of production to ensure conformity to design. In the event the process is found insufficient apply remediation activities such as request for design changes, process changes, or the development of new methods. Design documentation should contain the appropriate requirements for quality. (e.g., Measurement, Inspection, Key Characteristic Control, and First Article Quality Plans.) Ensure data collection capabilities support the requisite inspection, measurement, and control plans.
• Measuring Techniques:  Ensures First Piece set-up, hidden dimension verification is performed (as required), ensure hardware conformance through visual inspection and ensure that internal receiving inspection controls are adequate.
• Ensure packaging and preservation of parts to avoid deterioration during shipping and storage, compliance with packaging, handling and preservation requirements.

Minimum Requirement:             

Education & Experience:

• BS Engineering (ME/IE/EE/ECE) or related Engineering course, experience not required; or
• 3-year Technology course or equivalent and one (1) year industrial experience
