Join our R&D team as an R&D Information Analyst, supporting research projects by gathering, organizing and summarizing scientific and patent information, and helping identify opportunities to improve information management processes.
In your role you will report to the IP and Documentation Manager and will be based at the Tereos Corporate Technology Center in Aalst (Belgium).
What will you do
Support R&D projects by conducting literature and patent searches, including novelty checks and patent status interpretation, summarizing findings, and monitoring relevant technology developments;
Prepare structured datasets and clear summaries of findings for internal use;
Collaborate with engineering and management teams to define search topics and gather relevant scientific and IP information:
Contribute to the review of competitor publications and patent activity to support project teams;
Organize and maintain access to scientific publications, patent documents, and related data within internal knowledge systems;
Support the evaluation and use of knowledge management tools and AI-based search solutions;
Maintain internal databases for scientific and patent information and assist with documentation in communication with external patent representatives;
Regularly update monitoring activities to ensure relevant literature and IP information is available to the R&D team.
