How you create impact

The QuickSTAT Radio‑Pharma Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the logistics of radiopharmaceutical shipments in a highly regulated, time‑sensitive, and temperature‑controlled environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patient‑ready delivery by maintaining strict compliance with international regulations, monitoring end‑to‑end shipment execution, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

 

  • Coordinate and monitor the secure, on‑time transportation of radiopharmaceutical shipments to healthcare facilities.
  • Track and trace shipments using QuickSTAT IT systems (QuickTrac, QuickOnline/RX, Quick Oasis), including alarm management and checkpoint verification.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), radiation safety standards, IATA Dangerous Goods regulations, and applicable international logistics requirements.
  • Maintain strict time and temperature controls throughout transit using specialized packaging and monitoring devices.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, service partners, airlines, and carriers to ensure consistent service performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs), Customer Service, and Business Development teams to support client needs.
  • Proactively identify and escalate shipment discrepancies, delays, or client issues, and support contingency planning as needed.
  • Monitor vendor network performance to ensure adherence to QuickSTAT operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Review shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with country‑specific regulations and QuickSTAT quality systems (ISO, GDP).
  • Support process improvements and participate in service feasibility and operational assessments.
  • Manage departmental mailboxes, booking requests, and internal inquiries; respond to internal and external telephone inquiries accurately and efficiently.

What we would like you to bring

  • 3+ years of experience in radio‑pharma, healthcare, or pharmaceutical logistics
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
  • Dangerous Goods/IATA certification required; GDP and/or radioactive material handling certification preferred
  • Experience supporting time‑critical radio‑pharma or clinical trial shipments, including temperature‑controlled transport and regulatory compliance
  • Preferred background in air courier, freight forwarding, biopharmaceutical logistics, healthcare, or related logistics operations
  • Familiarity with import/export processes, warehouse operations, and multi‑modal transportation
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics‑related systems
  • Strong planning, organization, and teamwork skills with a proactive mindset
  • Solid numeric and financial aptitude
  • Strong understanding of global geography, time zones, and international commerce regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7/365 operational environment, including off‑hours, weekends, and holidays

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. QuickSTAT reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. #LI-TD1
