Overview

Provide technical support for the research and development of quantum computers, focusing on developing key hardware components required for quantum computing systems. We are looking at domains such MW and RF technologies, microfabrication and electronics, cryogenic systems, optics and photonics, vacuum technologies and electronics in general. Semiconductor engineers with deep experience in photolithography, interposers/packaging, laser-based fabrication such as selective laser etching and two-photon polymerization are also sought after.

  • Prototyping and evaluating new quantum device components

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Business-level English proficiency or higher (English is used for day-to-day work communication)
  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following fields
    • Laser-based microfabrication with focus on laser selective etching, two-photon polymerization
    • Practical experience in photolithography, interposer/package substrate design and fabrication
    • Hardware control engineers with rich experience in ARTIQ, FPGA, Laser sequence synchronization and control
    • UHV and cryogenic technology
    • Electronics engineers
