Quantitative Trading Intern - CTA
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily trade and position reconciliation across internal systems and broker statements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trades, positions, and cash balances
- Assist in P&L reconciliation and validation
- Monitor daily trading activity and flag irregularities or breaks
- Maintain and update operational trackers and logs
- Support onboarding of new instruments/accounts from an operations perspective
- Coordinate with traders, brokers, and other support teams to resolve issues
- Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives where possible
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets
- Basic understanding of financial markets and trading concepts is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
