Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System.
• Perform QMS audits and identify deficiencies.
• Reports findings to managements and recommend corrective actions.
• Directs continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage quality and lab personnel.
• Direct, supervise, and train personnel.
• Maintain positive employee relations.
• Establish a positive working environment through good communication.
• Consistently adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and set an example for other employees with regards to behavioral safety.
• Other duties as required.
Required:
• Handle confidential material in a professional matter.
• Team player, dedicated to the organization.
• Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees, management, and customers.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards and quality systems.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, and five years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Certifications/accreditations as a Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager preferred.
• Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of statistical and other math concepts.
• Ability to effectively manage time and personnel.
• Ability to present information to large groups effectively.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
