Quality Engineer
Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing quality design tools and methods to ensure the highest standards of precision and accuracy. You will work independently under general supervision to solve difficult problems and influence internal practices through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning: Develop, improve, and implement quality design tools and methods, ensuring their consistent use across the engineering team.
Inspection & Testing: Devise and implement procedures for inspecting and evaluating the accuracy of products and production equipment.
Process Analysis: Design and analyze testing mechanisms and equipment to maintain rigorous standards.
Risk Management: Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to assess control levels and manage production risks.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into incidents requiring corrective action, ensuring all measures and deviations meet reliability standards.
Compliance: Ensure all documentation is compliant with industry requirements and internal policies.

Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a quality or engineering environment.
Education: Professional level application of practical knowledge typically obtained through specialized education and work experience.
Communication: Ability to influence others within the job area through the clear explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Core Quality Knowledge:
Knowledge of Quality Processes
PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Control Plans
SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Software Proficiency:
Design: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, or Creo.
Analysis: Proficiency in Minitab and advanced Excel.
Work Environment
Autonomy: Ability to work independently with general supervision.
Problem Solving: Capacity to handle difficult technical challenges that require practical, effective solutions.
