Quality Assurance Engineer
Qualifications Engineering degree (preferably in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics, or a related technical field) 2-3y proven experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within the automotive industry and in alignment with industry standards and practices Strong command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders Responsibilities Ensure the implementation and execution of quality controls within production Supervise the application of all controls and measures defined in control plans and inspection instructions Carry out risk analysis actions in case of quality issues related to customer delivery and assess the associated impacts Support the analysis of nonconforming parts when required Verify the capability of production machines and decide on their authorization for production Participate in the handling of customer complaints, including defect analysis, and propose corrective actions / improvement initiatives Closely monitor rework operations and additional inspection activities on production lines Supervise final quality assurance and in-process inspections, and decide on the acceptance or rejection of product batches Actively participate in FMEA (AMDEC) meetings Contribute to the achievement of quality performance objectives related to key activity indicators (FTF, Scrap, 0-Km ppm, etc.) Ensure the exchange of relevant quality information with other APU/OU Support problem-solving teams by defining root causes as well as immediate and corrective actions Apply and ensure compliance with company manual instructions and work guidelines Raise awareness among direct personnel through active participation in periodic training sessions when required (onboarding, requalification, awareness, etc.)
