We are actively seeking a QlikSense Developer. This role is based in India, Hyderabad.

Position Summary

The QlikSense Developer will be responsible for building end-to-end BI solutions to support a wide variety of internal use cases across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery to name a few. The work might also include any ad-hoc analysis that might be needed to provide the required support for existing solutions.

This role will report to Sr. Manager, BI and Reporting, Global Operations at Rimini Street and will be based in Hyderabad, India.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

• Work with Lead BI Analyst and stakeholders in understanding the business processes and converting them into insights driven dashboards and scalable BI solutions
• Play an active part in gathering requirements, suggest application design aspects, prepare data models, develop and implement scalable Enterprise wide BI solutions.
• Maintain existing dashboards and reports, run ad-hoc analysis and provide required support for existing solutions.
• Ensure best practices are used to develop solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications and Skills  

• Business Intelligence: experience in wireframing, designing and implementing dashboards and scorecards. Define and document the use of BI through user experience/use cases, prototypes, test, and deploy BI solution.
• BI Platform: Strong knowledge of Qlik scripting techniques and functions. Good hands-on experience developing complex expressions and Set Expressions. Good hands-on experience with Qlik NPrinting aspects and template design.
• BI Architecture: Identify, analyze, architect and develop data models, and deliver integrated, scalable BI solutions in Qlik Sense/ Power BI/ Excel. Understand business requirements, provide estimates to build required solution. Evaluate, design, and develop business intelligence reporting and dashboards according to functional specifications, business requirements while maintaining data integrity and data quality.
• Data: familiarity with different types of operational data (finance, sales, marketing etc). Strong SQL knowledge. Good SnowSQL knowledge and expertise.
• Collaboration: Work with other members of BI team to translate business information needs into well-defined requirements to implement BI solutions. Ability to understand and leverage transactional information, data from ERP, CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouse applications to model, extract, and transform into reporting & analytics.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities 

• Work cross-functionally to understand the data from source systems such as, Salesforce, Service Now, SharePoint, MS Dynamics AX, ADP, JIRA, Adaptive planning, and from Snowflake (Rimini EDW).
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment, work with Infrastructure, and Network teams on the QlikSense server needs.
• Proactive monitoring, manage and maintain the Qlik Site to ensure high availability.

Experience

• 4-6 Years of experience data analysis, data modeling in Qlik Sense.
• Working experience with designing and maintaining complex dashboards and reports, Data Modeling, Entity-relationships, interactive UI building, dashboarding,
• Solid SQL knowledge
• Experience writing code in Python or R. Creating data pipes, integration with Snowflake

Location

• Hyderabad, India

Work Timing: Rotational (to support PST time zone)

Education  

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
