Hello, let’s meet!

Who We Are

While Xebia is a global tech company, our journey in CEE started with two Polish companies – PGS Software, known for world-class cloud and software solutions, and GetInData, a pioneer in Big Data. Today, we’re a team of 1,000+ experts delivering top-notch work across cloud, data, and software. And we’re just getting started.

What We Do

We work on projects that matter – and that make a difference. From fintech and e-commerce to aviation, logistics, media, and fashion, we help our clients build scalable platforms, data-driven solutions, and next-gen apps using ML, LLMs, and Generative AI. Our clients include Spotify, DisneyING, UPS, Tesco, Truecaller, AllSaints, Volotea, Schmitz Cargobull, and Allegro or InPost.

We value smart tech, real ownership, and continuous growth. We use modern, open-source stacks, and we’re proud to be trusted partners of Databricks, dbt, Snowflake, Azure, GCP, and AWS. Fun fact: we were the first AWS Premier Partner in Poland!

Beyond Projects

What makes Xebia special? Our community. We run events like the Data&AI Warsaw Summit, organize meetups (Software Talks, Data Tech Talks), and have a culture that actively support your growth via Guilds, Labs, and personal development budgets — for both tech and soft skills. It’s not just a job. It’s a place to grow.

What sets us apart?

Our mindset. Our vibe. Our people. And while that’s hard to capture in text – come visit us and see for yourself.

About Project

We are looking for a QA Manual Engineer to join a retail-focused product team working on user interfaces, checkout systems, and end-to-end transaction workflows. The role involves validating web, mobile, and backend components within a modern, containerized environment.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented QA professional who enjoys system-level thinking, user journey validation, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

You will be:

  • testing user interfaces across web and mobile platforms, ensuring functional accuracy and responsive design consistency,

  • validating checkout and payment workflows, including POS-related flows, payment gateways, and transaction scenarios,

  • performing API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent solutions,

  • executing end-to-end testing to verify complete user journeys and backend integrations,

  • testing Docker/container base images to ensure reproducibility, stability, and dependency integrity,

  • identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using issue-tracking systems,

  • collaborating closely with developers, QA, and product stakeholders to ensure high product quality,

  • providing clear and structured reporting of test results, risks, and issues,

  • contributing to continuous quality improvement and testing best practices.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle),

  • practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
  • hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, or similar),

  • solid experience in UI testing across web and mobile platforms,

  • familiarity with checkout and payment systems, including transaction flows,

  • experience working with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent),

  • structured, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset,

  • strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills,

  • ability to work effectively in an office-based, team-oriented environment,

  • minimum B2 level English proficiency.

Nice to have:

  • experience working with retail or e-commerce systems,

  • understanding of containerized environments (Docker),

  • exposure to CI/CD-driven development environments,

  • experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
  • interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
