About the Role
As a member of the Altium 365 development team, your responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Engineer will include refining requirements, testing new features, regression testing, and maintaining and developing automated tests.
A Day in the Life of Our QA Engineer
- Develop complete and robust test suites
- Design test plans and cases that would uncover potential product defects
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Configure and maintain test environments
- Report defects accurately and in a timely manner
- Facilitate issue tracking and successful resolution
- Assess and communicate risks related to product quality
- Participate in planning/review/retrospective activities
- Investigate, elicit and capture steps to reproduce issues reported by customers or captured in the issue-tracking system
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in software testing more than 3+ years (API and user flows)
- Advanced knowledge of testing approaches, techniques, and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of software development methodology and software lifecycle processes
- Experience in projects integrated with an automated testing ecosystem
- Experience working with dev console
- Experience with Git, Jenkins
- Experience with Test Management tools (preferably TestRail)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Experience in API testing tools (Fiddler, Postman etc.)
- Experience in writing SQL/DB queries
