We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer who is eager to take part in shaping the future of how we build insurance at Lemonade. This is a great role for someone who’s passionate about technology, exceptional quality, and loves automation.

You’ll be instrumental in bringing features to the finish line while collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams - working towards the collective goal of delivering a seamless, joyful experience for our customers.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you’ll

  • Be part of a scrum product team and develop test plans scenarios as part of the “shift left” practices. Lead and engage developers in testing and automation.

  • Work closely during the sprint with engineers in order to deliver the most quality products

  • Design and execute automated end-to-end regression and sanity tests, identifying gaps and deficiencies

  • Investigate product quality issues to uphold high-quality standards

  • Collaborate with Product and other teams to manage documentation and ensure timely releases

  • Assess delivery readiness and maintain outstanding UX/UI standards through manual testing as needed

  • Partner with AI tools to speed up workflows and improve overall quality

  • Collaborate across teams to drive quality assurance efforts and new initiatives

What you’ll need

  • 4+ years of QA experience

  • Experience testing, creating and running automation tests for APIs, either by writing code or using tools like Postman

  • Familiarity with QA methodologies and documentation standards

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on the bigger picture

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems

  • Independent, fast learner with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew

  • Hands-on experience writing automated tests in Cypress/Playwright, an advantage

  • Ready to work in an office environment most days of the week

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
