Python Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the further development of our AI team and the underlying LabV platform. Strong software engineering background and initial experience with LLMs—or a clear motivation to grow in this area. Solid backend engineering, microservices, and platform integration, with opportunities to expand into LLM-related development.

Responsibilities

Understand and analyze laboratory use cases processed via LabV (e.g., quality analysis of recyclates).
Develop, extend, and maintain microservices and APIs that interface with our AI assistant and LabV platform.
Contribute to the integration of LLM tools and AI functionality into production-grade systems.
Ensure scalable, observable, and well-tested backend services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) configurations.
Support the development of conversational interfaces powered by LLMs.
Collaborate with the AI team to translate platform requirements into robust software systems.

Requirements

Strong experience in Python and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with microservices, API design, and backend integration.
Knowledge of cloud deployment, CI/CD, testing, IaC, observability, and scalability concepts.
Initial exposure to LLMs, AI models, or prompt-based interfaces—or strong motivation to learn.
Experience with modern development tooling and best practices.
Willingness to develop skills in LLM tooling, embeddings, RAG, and conversational AI over time.
