Python Developer

Requirements: 
Competencies Bachelor's degree in related area 
Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts. 
Demonstrated ability to interface with management on a regular basis. 
Demonstrated ability to create software specifications. 
Thorough experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums. 
Demonstrated software repository skills. 
Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. 
Proven database expertise in formulating efficient schemas. 

Qualifications: 
Strong hands on experience with Python, Java, API, Linux 
Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans. 
Some familiarity of current bioinformatics tools, compression algorithms, and data types. 
Experience with distributed, highly scalable databases, such as HBase or Cassandra, as well as an in-depth knowledge of traditional SQL database concepts. 
Experience with cloud computing services such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud 
Programming experience with Scala or Clojure prefers.
