Your mission: Within the Finance department comprising approximately 35 people, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join us. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, client billing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your tasks will consist in: Account Payable accounting: Ensure suppliers invoice reception, obtain invoice and/or purchase order approval, book invoices in the accounting system and prepare them for process payment; Review staff expenses reimbursement request considering the applicable expenses policy and prepare them for reimbursement and accounting processing; Respond to suppliers or employee enquiries in a timely and professional manner; Assist with month-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations. Billing and Account Receivable accounting: Support staff for general administrative duties related to client invoicing including preparation and sending of invoices to clients, and update the clients’ database; Assist in the follow up of overdue account receivables including customer reminder, reporting on outstanding invoices and account reconciliations. Hold 2-year degree or a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; Have a good knowledge in VAT; Have 0-2 years of accounting experience; internships or relevant coursework will be an asset; Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle); Have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines; Are a team player with good communication skills; Are fluent in English, knowledge of French will be an asset.
