About the Role:
- Make strategy to manage current Mechanical Commodities motor suppliers, drive supplier performance management on cost, capacity, contract
- Investigate and develop new suppliers for Mechanical commodity management
- Support on NPD projects development together with X-function team in terms of Mechanical Commodity scope, such as Supplier Selection, Cost Management
- Initiate savings activities to support on KPI achievement
- Drive South East Asia Mechanical Commodity localization activities
- Support on commodity team data analysis and reports

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain commodity strategies to support business strategy and growth aspirations
- Source and work with quality / engineering to qualify new suppliers to support business growth, supplier onboarding/qualification process by signing frame contract ,system register, supplier audit
- Follow each stage for NPD projects by running bidding, supplier recommendation and cost confirmation
- Follow up order allocation rules to manage dual or multi source
- Build capacity database together with commodity planning team to avoid potential delivery risk
- Kick off sourcing activities (negotiation ,dual source and VAVE ) to support on savings achievement
- Work with x-function for SEA local supplier ECN approval until MP
- Support on SC data analysis and reports collection
Personal Competencies Desired/Required:
- Commodity management experience in Motor as a prefer, engineering background is preferred
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Fluent verbal, written and presentation skills in English
- Rich experience in cross function team cooperation
- Rich experience in sourcing, supply base build, cost control & negotiation, contract negotiation and risk management.
- With project management experience
- Rich experience in cost structure cost model build
- Open minded to support to build agile, competitive sourcing team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree at least, engineering background is preferred
- 5 years working experience including 5+sourcing experience
- CET-6 or above with fluently oral and written English
- Skill in ERP system (SRM/Oracle) operation
- Skill in excel/ppt file
