Summary: Pearce Services is seeking a dedicated Design Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of telecom design prints, collaborating with stakeholders to meet design objectives, and maintaining high-quality standards in project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks on design prints from every aspect.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and performance of proposed designs.
  • Ensure compliance with client general and regional standards, regulations, and best practices in telecom design.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define design objectives and specifications.
  • Provide feedback to designers on errors and areas for improvement.
  • Support management in plans to improve the quality of design output.
  • Organize and maintain data of files that have been through quality checks.
  • Ensure compliance with Pearce Database for project milestone dates.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in handling job types such as ASE, F1, FTTP, and IFP, adhering to client standards.
  • Experience with ARAMIS-DT for project management and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with portals including APEX, IMAGINE, MIC, XNG, NOVA, AOTX, USH, LFACS, and CEOOT.
  • Understanding of the Outside Plant telecom industry, public right-of-way, private easements, and utilities.
  • Experience in FTTX (G-PON) designing and knowledge of copper networks and terminology.
  • Understanding of permit and jurisdiction requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
  • Proven experience in AT&T FTTH/BAU projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of experience in BAU/FTTH on AT&T Design QC Engineering Projects.
