Proposal Analyst

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Proposal Analyst to join our growing Commercial & Contract Management team. This role is central to the preparation, coordination, and submission of compelling proposals in response to customer solicitations and quotation requests.
This individual will play a key role in managing customer-facing proposals, supporting contract development and negotiation, and coordinating internal data collection and stakeholder input.
This is a dynamic and cross-functional role, requiring a flexible professional with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate customer proposal submissions (RFPs, RFQs, state or cooperative contracts) across internal stakeholders and departments
- Serve as a primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers regarding proposal status, contract inquiries, and clarifications
- Collaborate with departments including Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to gather and consolidate technical, financial, and delivery-related information for proposals
- Maintain and continuously improve internal content libraries, including templates, past proposals, FAQs, and other reference materials
- Review customer solicitations and ensure proposals meet all compliance requirements; prepare and manage required compliance documents.
- Lead applications for Incentive and grants.
- Track and support the application, registration, and renewal processes for state and cooperative purchasing contracts
- Assist in the development, review, and negotiation of customer contracts, teaming agreements, and amendments
- Support the preparation and review of pricing structures and commercial terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to broader commercial strategy, data analysis, and internal reporting initiatives
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in proposal coordination, commercial/contracts, or program management, ideally in transportation, public sector, or clean tech industries
- Familiarity with public procurement processes and compliance (e.g., transit agencies, airports, school districts)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexible mindset and willingness to support various commercial or contract-related initiatives
Preferred:
- Experience working with public sector clients (FTA-funded agencies, cooperatives, etc.)
- Working knowledge of procurement portals and tools (e.g., PlanetBids, BidNet, etc.)
- Exposure to electric vehicle, automotive, or manufacturing industries
Pay Range:
- $70,000-100,000 per Year.
