Property Analyst - Real Estate

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a Property Analyst to join us in Brisbane. You will join a dynamic national team with a focus on culture, excellence, and a bias to action.
The role of Property Investment Analyst provides an opportunity to work and develop your skills in a team of over 50 Real Estate professionals across Australia with diverse backgrounds in development and construction, valuation, sales and marketing, property law, contract administration, funds management and investment banking.
The role will provide broad exposure across our real estate advisory and investments business; working with some of Australia’s most regarded corporate entities, not for profit clients, the government sector, as well as high net worth private individuals.
The role provides a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities including:
- Assisting on a range of engagements across our investment and advisory businesses including corporate advisory, special situations, development management and investment management.
- Undertaking detailed financial modelling and analysis.
- The development and critique of financial feasibility modelling for property development projects
- Assist and oversee transaction management and development management of distressed property - designing and executing transaction processes that protect and recover value.
- Assisting with due-diligence investigations on a variety of assets classes with a focus on residential development opportunities and built form industrial assets.
- Conducting research and analysis of various asset sectors and market trends and produce succinct reports/ presentations.
- Work in a supportive team environment, one where we place high importance on the development of skills and knowledge, via on-the-job learning and formal training.

Our preferred candidate will have:
- A degree in property or finance/commerce.
- Possess strong analytical and research skills.
- Be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Argus and Estate Master or similar financial modelling programs looked upon favourably.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
For this role, we are seeking a candidate with a background in property who has experience in banking/ non-bank lending, investment banking, property analytics, deal advisory or valuations.
