Project Manager / GIS Expert_BID
Missions/Main Duties
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the GIS-based Master Plan, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement GIS workflows, spatial databases, and analytical models to support urban planning and infrastructure development.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, data scientists, and government stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
- Conduct spatial analysis, remote sensing interpretation, and geostatistical modeling to inform planning decisions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, maps, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, metadata documentation, and compliance with national geospatial standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging GIS technologies and recommend tools to enhance project efficiency.
Profile/Skills
- Masters in Geo- Informatics/ GIS/ Remote Sensing from recognized university.
- He/She should have minimum 10 years experience
- He/She should have handled at least 3 projects of GIS based plans for towns.
