Program Advisor

FUNCTION: The function of the Program Advisor is to provide academic advising, registration assistance, and assistance in accessing, and navigating institutional requirements. Essential Job Functions: Provide advising, registration assistance, and assistance in accessing and navigating institutional requirements to current students. Provides career advising to assist students in choosing a career pathway. Plan and implement retention and completion activities. Update transfer plans for transfer universities. Work with the Program Advisor Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate the programs and services provided by Advising, Career Transfer department. Additional Job Functions: Assist with graduation application process and commencement activities. Serve as a liaison and foster intentional relationships with other advisors, offices, and departments.
