Production Support Analyst

Investment Bank - Front Office Support

A leading investment bank is seeking a Support Analyst to join their Reg Tech division, supporting the Risk Technology Suite. The role focuses on supporting Global Banking and Markets Finance applications and managing front-office risk, liquidity, and market risk. The Finance Production team is responsible for overseeing front office regulation, liquidity, market risk, and sub-ledger risk for Equities and FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities), ensuring compliance with auditing, reconciliation, P&L confirmation, pricing risk, and aligning risks with public finance reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track, resolve, and report user issues globally.
• Manage incidents, working with tech teams to restore services.
• Liaise with development and infrastructure teams on changes/upgrades.
• Automate tasks using Unix and Python scripting.
• Support SQL/Oracle for transaction prioritization during peak periods.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide expertise in risk applications.

Required Skills:

• Experience in financial industry support.
• Proficiency in UNIX and large database management (SQL Server/Sybase).
• Familiarity with batch automation and service management processes.
• Strong knowledge of supporting environments using solutions based on Java, UNIX Shell scripts, Perl, Python, .NET, and IIS.
