Pay: Based on experience starting at $89K +

Current Shift Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday- Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Flexible pending business needs)
- Prior to shift start, this role will be responsible for coordinating staffing and resources to support line operations and changeovers.

Description of Role:
The Production Lead is a front-line operations leader responsible for managing an average of 22 production associates. This role focuses on efficiently improving quality, safety, continuous improvement, performance management, associate development, team engagement, and operating results.
What we are looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
High School or GED
4+ years experience in a people management role
4+ years experience in a technical manufacturing continuous improvement environment
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and email
Physical Requirements:
Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree
Technical degree or certifications
Mechanical training or experience
What will your key responsibilities be?
Manage and motivate a team of up to 22 associates to meet KPIs, maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety while fostering associate engagement and development.
Implement changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization as needed to ensure line/area objectives are achieved.
Provide recommendations using a Continuous Improvement mindset
Collaborate with the Area Leadership team to enhance strategies for improved line/area performance.
Coach operators to develop their functional and leadership capabilities, driving accountability within the team.
Coordinate materials, staffing, and resources to support line operations and changeovers.
Ensure ongoing production and conversion of materials into quality, safe, and defect-free products, consistent with Mars principles.
