Product Owner on HR Scope
About the Role:
ArcelorMittal is seeking a Product Owner to lead the design and delivery of innovative digital solutions aligned with business strategy. This role focuses on building a scalable and unified HR data ecosystem, enabling global reporting and analytics through the Global HR Data Lake.
You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into high-value, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Definition & Design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements
- Translate business needs into actionable product features and solutions
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog
- Conduct workshops and align cross-functional teams
2. Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and feasibility
- Plan and manage product releases ensuring timely delivery
- Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and goals
- Track KPIs and measure product performance
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the interface between business, IT, and external partners
- Facilitate communication across teams and manage expectations
- Drive collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively
4. Project & Change Management
- Manage product lifecycle and continuous improvements
- Support project execution and ensure smooth change adoption
- Handle multiple products and priorities simultaneously
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance product efficiency and user experience
- Drive innovation initiatives and data-driven decision-making
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong experience in SAP HR / SAP BI
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, SQL Server
- Hands-on exposure to Azure Analytics environment
- Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse architectures
- Understanding of HR Data Integration & HRIS systems
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Required Experience:
- 611 years in Product Ownership / Business Analysis / Project Management
- 3–5 years working with HR systems & data (SAP HR, Oracle HCM, etc.)
- Experience working on data-driven platforms and analytics solutions
