Product Manager (Product + Execution)

VidRush is an AI-native video production platform that replaces an entire video team with coordinated AI agents.

Creators turn a simple idea into a fully produced, long-form video—research, script, voiceover, visuals, motion graphics, and rendering—in under an hour. No timelines. No editing headaches. Just intent → finished video.

We’re building a new way to create video that feels more like writing than editing, and we’re already seeing strong traction from serious creators and media teams.

The Role

We’re hiring a Product Manager to streamline execution and product delivery across multiple teams, including both standard development and R&D/AI work.

You’ll work directly with founders and engineering leads to:

1. define strategy and priorities

2. translate that strategy into clear requirements

3. manage cross-team execution in Jira

4. enforce accountability, visibility, and predictable delivery

5. help the team ship high-quality work faster without chaos

This role blends classic product thinking with strong Product Ops / Delivery instincts.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Prioritization

1. Help define the product strategy for the next 4–12 weeks

2. Translate company goals into a focused roadmap

3. Make tradeoffs and say “no” when necessary to protect velocity

Requirements & Planning

1. Write clear, concrete feature requirements before development starts

2. Align frontend and backend expectations early to avoid mismatches late

3. Define ownership: who’s responsible for what, and what “done” means

Execution & Accountability

1. Own Jira: maintain a clean backlog, run sprint planning, and drive follow-through

2. Track progress and surface blockers early (before a task stalls for weeks)

3. Improve team velocity and visibility across time zones

Managing R&D / AI Work

1. Structure exploration work using “spikes” and experiments

2. Reduce endless trial-and-error by defining:

3. why the experiment exists

4. what success looks like

5. how long it runs before a decision is made

6. Keep research aligned to strategy rather than constantly chasing new trends

Team Process

1. Establish lightweight rituals that actually help (standups, planning, retros)

2. Create meeting structures that work across time zones (e.g., two-pass sync + notes)

3. Improve internal documentation and communication flow

What We’re Looking For (Most Important)

1. Strong experience shipping product in fast-moving environments

2. Excellent at writing requirements that eliminate ambiguity

3. Confident prioritizer: can protect focus and reduce roadmap chaos

4. Highly organized and execution-driven: you push work to completion

5. Deep Jira experience (backlog hygiene, sprint planning, workflows)

6. Able to coordinate distributed teams across time zones

7. Great communicator: you align stakeholders without creating friction

8. Comfortable working with technical teams, including AI/R&D workflows

Nice to Have

1. Experience with creator tools, media products, or video workflows

2. Experience managing hybrid teams (product + R&D + engineering)

3. Strong background as a business analyst or product ops lead

4. Experience building internal systems/processes from scratch
