Product Manager (PQ) - Data center -White Space

This role will be responsible for managing a comprehensive range of white space products including Server Racks, Rack PDUs, Floor Mounted PDUs, Micro Data Centers (MDC), Power Train Units (PTU), Precision Cooling, DCIM, OCP Racks, DC Side Car, MV SST etc. and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, innovation, and market success. 1. 2. Act as the single point of contact to provide prompt, satisfactory, and comprehensive responses for all product-related queries/clarifications from internal and external stakeholders. Support Sales/BD/ Solution Architect teams in product selection, developing winning bids on tender specifications with appropriate techno-commercial input. 3. Own and optimize pricing strategy and market positioning for the entire white space product portfolio, ensuring alignment with cost structures, competitive landscape, and value delivery 4. Identify market potential and develop targeted engagement strategies for enterprise customers, channel partners, and system integrators in the data center space, in collaboration with Sales and BD teams. 5. Stay current with the market and channel's latest trends and growth opportunities and integrate the same in the product road-mapping process 6. Conduct regular competitive analysis including technology trends, product features, channel strategies, and pricing models to identify opportunities for product leadership. 7. Perform comprehensive sales and service product training and support the marketing team on the right product-showcase for the annual calendar of segment-wise trade shows and channel events. 8. Assist MARCOM team in developing product launch kits, sales-collateral and sales tools to drive revenue and profitability. 9. Work closely with R & D and other members of the Product Engineering team to incorporate concise and effective communications to convey market needs and product performance, capabilities and features 10. Represent India in the global solution product roadmap development by working collaboratively with all regions (APAC, Americas and EMEA) to bring innovative solutions to the market in a timely manner. Drive product line standardization across various platforms, liaising and coordinating with the Global product line managers as required. 11. Work closely with operations, Sales, BD, and services teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. 12. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical /Mechanical engineering, MBA preferred -CDCP certification is desirable for deeper alignment with data center infrastructure standards and practices -Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Power Quality (PQ) industry with a strong understanding of data center applications -At least 5 years of product management experience in data center white space infrastructure, including Server Racks, Rack PDUs, Floor Mounted PDUs, Micro Data Centers (MDC), Power Train Units (PTU), Precision Cooling, DCIM, OCP Racks, DC Side Car, and MV SST -Deep understanding of data center white space infrastructure, including Server Racks, Rack PDUs, Floor Mounted PDUs, Micro Data Centers (MDC), Power Train Units (PTU), Precision Cooling systems, DCIM platforms, and integration with upstream power systems (UPS). -Strong knowledge of data center white space architecture, including redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1) -Familiarity with precision cooling technologies (CRAH, in-row cooling, containment systems, liquid cooling, chillers) -Awareness of DCIM platforms and related tools (SCADA, BIM, AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit) for solution discussions -Working knowledge of industry standards: Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942, OCP guidelines -Understanding of Micro Data Centers (MDC) and modular infrastructure solutions -Knowledge of integration between power quality systems and white space components for end-to-end data center solutions Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills -Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans -Proficient in conducting market research to identify and address customer needs -Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and manage product portfolio P&L -Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage tight deadlines, and balance technical and commercial priorities
