Product Manager, Marketing & Growth Automation
The Role:
Technology is one of the most important parts of our business. Whether it’s supporting our songwriters, ensuring we provide the right royalty data to global partners, or helping our creative teams use the latest AI tools to discover new talent—technology plays an invaluable role in our success. Product Managers help turn vision into reality.
We are looking for a Product Manager for Marketing & Growth Automation. This team is managing the underlying technology for how WMG markets its vast catalog, leveraging data, AI, and automation to achieve massive scale and efficiency. You will be a "user-first" thinker responsible for a portfolio of features and products aimed at growing our catalog market share, developing scalable tools for marketing teams, and increasing engagement across platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and social media.

What you'll do:
Continuous Discovery: Build deep empathy for our labels, operations teams, and global partners by maintaining a constant dialogue with them. Uncover their underlying pain points, ensuring that every solution we build truly solves their problems and makes their daily workflows more seamless.
Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for your products, ensuring it aligns with WMG’s catalog marketing and automation strategy.
Product Trio Collaboration: Work in a "Product Trio" alongside Engineering and Design to solve complex problems, resolving trade-offs and tackling risks.
Execution & Ownership: Serve as the primary author of PRDs and the "executor-in-chief" for your projects, driving development from ideation through technical delivery.
Launch & Impact: Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, internal messaging, and launch plans. You don't just "ship" code; you ensure the organization is ready to adopt it to achieve maximum impact.
Automation Strategy & Execution: Drive the vision to market our catalog through scalable application of automation.
Marketing Product Development: Own the development and rollout of self-serve tools for marketing teams.
Data & Insights: Partner with marketing teams to translate data into actionable insights for marketers and agentic workflows.
Analytical Optimization: Continuously monitor product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends. Use this data to make informed prioritization decisions, identify areas for improvement, and manage technical debt to optimize the product over its entire lifecycle.
Who you are:
Experienced: You have at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to digital media, marketing technology, or AI/high-scale automation systems.
Technical & Business Savvy: You can discuss system architecture with engineers and business constraints with executives, mitigating Value, Usability, Feasibility, and Business Viability risks upfront.
A Master Storyteller: You own the "Why" and can easily adjust your communication style for different audiences, from developers to more senior stakeholders.
Biased to Action: You have a proven ability to unstick a team, make difficult prioritization decisions, and navigate the ambiguity of a global business.
Humble Leader: You have strong opinions, held weakly; you are quick to share credit with your team and accept responsibility when things don’t go as planned.
Mission-Driven: You are a music fan motivated by the fact that your work directly impacts an artist’s ability to grow their career and get paid.
