About the role:
The Usage Data Analyst will join the Product Management team to support Sun King’s analytical initiatives. We are seeking candidates with strong technical aptitude and the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, generate insights, and drive decision-making. Key responsibilities include reporting on key metrics, evaluating analytical methodologies, and proposing operational improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.

Key responsibilities include reporting on key metrics, evaluating analytical methodologies, and proposing operational improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
During the first year, the role will have the opportunity to work across 2-3 different analytics teams, gaining exposure to various aspects of the business. This rotation will help shape the career trajectory, aligning professional growth with both personal interests and the company’s strategic goals.
What you will be expected to do
- Support the Product Management team and other R&P departments by addressing data requests and ensuring accurate translation of business requirements.
- Transform data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Develop reporting structures and templates to enhance the quality and efficiency of analyses and visualizations.
- Participate in testing and user acceptance processes to ensure solutions are successfully implemented and align with business needs.
- Plan strategically on data collection requests to reduce data-related costs.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Periscope is a must.
- Coding/Programming experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both in English and Mandarin.
- Problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and engage with diverse external stakeholders.
