Procurement Specialist
Actively lower costs by sourcing and onboarding additional vendors into the procurement system, negotiating pricing agreements, and working directly with vendors to reduce expenses
Collaborate with Infrastructure and Workplace Teams to assess purchase order (PO) needs, draft POs, track deliveries, and resolve invoices or supplier issues efficiently
Manage facilities and construction spares and commodities of stock, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency
Lead sourcing efforts for electrical, mechanical, janitorial, and construction commodities, including facilities and construction services, while maintaining supplier relationships
Conduct market research and spend analysis to develop informed sourcing strategies, pre-qualify suppliers, and negotiate cost reduction opportunities
Implement global/regional agreements to consolidate suppliers, analyze historical and projected spend, and optimize contracts for cost-effective pricing
Drive cost-saving initiatives through benchmarking, competitive quoting, and "Lean" practices, while supporting purchase order reconciliation and resolving commercial issues with vendors
5+ years of experience in purchasing and project management for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or mission-critical construction projects
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and Acrobat, with strong analytical and decision-making skills
Expertise in strategic sourcing, opportunity analysis, contract negotiations, and managing various contract types (Lump Sum, GMP, Cost-plus, T&M)
Proven ability to identify cost drivers, resolve supplier or business process issues, and drive continuous improvement
Strong organizational skills to manage detailed transactions, track progress, and handle multiple tasks independently
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Experience in building and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure operational efficiency and cost savings
