Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 9 years of experience in procurement sourcing and category management, with a strong understanding of basic procurement law and the ability to author, negotiate, and oversee master supply agreements, professional services agreements, statements of work, change requests, amendments, and other procurement documents.
Roles and Responsibility
- Manage strategic supplier relationships with cross-functional impact across multiple geographies within the Americas.
- Develop and maintain a best-in-class global preferred supply base for respective categories.
- Lead sourcing events, reverse auctions, and collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, identify suppliers, and develop internal recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure maximum value and minimum risk to the organization.
- Prepare contracts, liaise with the Legal team and suppliers, and route them for sign-off.
- Ensure on-time renewal of contracts and manage the development and execution of sourcing projects.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement sourcing and category management.
- Solid understanding of basic procurement law and the ability to author, negotiate, and oversee procurement documents.
- Demonstrated track record of leading the sourcing process and working with stakeholders across businesses and geographies.
- Proven ability to communicate, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen, including good strategy, financial, and operational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player.
- Experience working in an eSourcing tool environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certifications in procurement-related certifications through ISM or other recognized entities, and legal and commercial negotiations are a plus.
