Procurement Manager

Lead end-to-end procurement operations for direct and indirect materials, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Develop and manage a robust supplier base (100+ direct suppliers) to ensure consistent performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production Planning, Production, Service, Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, and Industrial Engineering. Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate procurement of materials and components. Source and evaluate materials for heavy machining, fabrication, Casting , Forging (VMC, HMC, Turning, Milling, etc.). Monitor supplier performance in coordination with the sourcing team to drive improvements in On-Time Delivery (OTD) and quality. Manage supplier forecasts and ensure material availability to meet production and project timelines. Handle urgent and critical procurement requirements effectively to minimize operational disruptions. Ensure compliance with commercial and statutory requirements including GST, VAT, and supplier payment processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
