Procurement Business Partner
Job description
This is a key role within the APAC procurement team and will offer the successful candidate a great opportunity to influence how the team develops of the coming years.
The position holder will join the team here in India (Mumbai) or in Malaysia supporting EMAP market and act as a point of contact specifically for all Business Units (functions) purchases for Mumbai & Hyderabad such as requirements related to HR, Facilities Marketing, professional services and business operations teams etc., but will also assist with any other categories as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
· Take a lead on managing Low & medium risk & spend transaction’s negotiations
· Manage RFXs, auctions and contracts including renewal – utilising Ariba, Experian’s e-sourcing tool.
· Define and document project pipeline and plan for FY period
· Spend reviews and re-negotiate existing contracts
· Negotiate & challenge suppliers and realise market leading commercials
· Ensure all expenditure is covered by robust contracts
· Strengthen business relationships with Internal stakeholders and key suppliers;
· Develop alternate supplier and risk mitigation strategies;
· Develop and lead regional category strategy in partnership with Global lead;
· Drive cost saving programs at both country and regional level;
· Support APAC procurement team achieving functional goals

Business support:
· Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPI’s and SLA’s;
· Understand business requirements, build supply chain and lead to meet or exceed expectations.
· Provide market insight and ability to lead and drive right direction together with business and stakeholders
· Provide data analysis support and recommendations to business leads
· Standardise procurement practices across business lines, countries and region
· Flexible and agile to response to changing to business needs.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor degree with economics, business, trading or equivalents
- • 4-6 years’ experience in procurement PR to PO process, at least 3-4 years focused on India market, be familiar with the P2P process, market situation and quality system standards in Financial and big data industry is preferred.
- • Commercial Law – understanding of contractual law, including risks, negotiation and drafting experience.
- • Strong communication and project management skills , Ability to leverage existing supply tools and technologies and assist in the development of new technologies
- • Professional and results driven and Work with integrity and respect company ethics as well Entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude.
- • Experience of Oracle ERP systems, Ariba, SharePoint, would be an advantage, but not necessary
