Process Technician (F/M/D)

Principal Responsibilities:
- Documentation, Asset Management and Calibration
- Review of technical documentation for efficiency improvements
- Conversion of customer instructions to internal instructions where necessary
- Updating Q-Pulse with new and changing assets
- Follow-up Q-Pulse calibration maintenance schedule of assigned equipment
- Coordinate with supervisors and management the downtimes
- Take care of the dismantling and installation of assigned equipment
- Take care of the maintenance parts logistics between suppliers and/or subcontractors
- Machine Programming, Monitoring and Support
- Routine selective solder machine, programming, process monitoring by inspection, electrical/electronic or thermal checks of all the related processes.
- Routine CNC machine programming and process monitoring By inspection or otherwise of machines as CNC machines.
- A routine check of chemical or metallurgical reports, such as sampling and recording the solder, washing process, etc.
- Routinely checking and reporting of the temperature-critical machine conditions. The machines are reflows, wave soldering, selective, mini-waves, soldering stations, hot air stations, ovens, climate chambers, etc.
- Keep track of process-dependent consumable parts mentioned above
- Generate purchase approval requests for process-dependent consumable parts
- Other process-related duties shall be included if required
- All process monitoring must be processed and recorded in Q-Pulse
- Projects are monitored and recorded in JIRA
Job Level Specifications:
Acquires basic skills through work experience or formal training to perform routine tasks.
Tasks can be routine, repetitive and manual in nature with minimal complexity or variation and specific to the job.
Other technical tasks can be complex and one-offs.
Work is performed under minimal supervision with detailed instructions. Priorities are provided for performing work.
Interacts mostly with immediate peers within the assigned team. Based on the nature of the role, may respond to requests from others in the organisation.
The impact of decisions is primarily contained in the work of the job.
Work Experience:
Typically requires less than one year of related experience.
Education and Certification(s):
MCAST Advanced Level 4 Technical Diploma or equivalent
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The specific department may require specialised certification in electronics.
It may require standing for prolonged periods of time and movement.
The position may require flexible and shift working times.
