Process Technician - Defect Inspection Night 2

onsemi is seeking a Process Technician - Defect Inspection in Hopewell Junction, NY. This job role is for a Defect application technician.  Technicians in this role provide day-to-day line support to the sector, including lot hold, tool disposition, recipe builds, and execution of engineering experiments.  Application technicians work a 12-hour shift schedule in the cleanroom. N2 backend compress shift

• Day to day operation support of the sector within 12hr shift schedule.
• Work closely with applications engineers, analysts and production teams.
• Recipe builds on Bare wafer, Brightfield, Darkfield, Macro Inspection and SEM review tools
• Recover from process and tool interruptions, including lot and equipment disposition
• Authors department work instructions and procedures
• Perform engineering experiments
• Identify ways to improvement tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost.  Participates in continuous improvement.
• Train new team members
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

• Education –  HS Diploma, AAS degree strongly preferred.
• Experience – 3yrs semiconductor cleanroom experience
• Strong, effective communications and Leadership / Teamwork skills are required.
• Language Fluency – Fluent in English Language – written & verbal

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 -$36.92 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
