Your Impact
As a Process Technician at Boddington, you will play a key role in the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our gold processing facilities. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will support production, recovery, and plant reliability outcomes, while ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements, and agreed operating conditions.
This role is suited to experienced Process Technicians who can operate independently, contribute to troubleshooting activities, and support continuous improvement across the processing plant.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Operate, monitor, and maintain gold processing plant equipment across crushing, grinding, flotation, and recovery circuits.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and respond to plant upsets and process variations in a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and housekeeping to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable plant performance.
- Support the safe execution of isolations, permits, shutdowns, and start-up activities.
- Work closely with supervisors, control room operators, maintenance teams, and peers to achieve shared production and safety outcomes.
- Actively contribute knowledge, experience, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen plant performance and team capability.
Prerequisites for Success in This Role
- Minimum of 5 years’ operational experience as a Process Technician in a gold processing plant or similar metallurgical processing environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of wet plant operations, including crushing, grinding, flotation, CIP/CIL, and gold recovery circuits.
- Current manual C-class driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
- A demonstrated commitment to safety leadership, environmental compliance, and procedural discipline
- Ability to work a 7 days on / 7 days off rotating day and night shift roster.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based operational environment.

This role is based at Boddington Gold Mine, operating on a 7/7 rotating day and night shift roster. You will be part of a high-performing processing team within a complex gold operation that prioritises safety, teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
