We are now looking for a Process Expert to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Support and develop IT solutions and system integrations that enable efficient business processes in wood industry across our ERP system and connected internal and external systems.

  • Ensure functioning data exchange between systems, monitoring messaging and interface performance, resolving issues, and supporting implementation of new integration solutions.

  • Work within defined guidelines, the role applies analytical thinking and developing technical knowledge to connect business process requirements with system integrations.

Main responsibilities/ key tasks:

  • Participate in developing, harmonizing, and standardizing business processes and IT solutions across mills.

  • Contribute as an expert in business development (projects, small enhancements).

  • Create specifications for needed changes in IT systems

  • Acceptance testing of changes in the IT system incl. creating test protocols and instructions

  • Monitor and support interfaces between our ERP system and internal/external applications

  • Analyze and resolve message failures, interface errors, data discrepancies

  • Support and manage changes to existing interfaces, implement new integrations and new EDI mappings

You will also:

  • Support end users regarding questions and challenges with defined IT solutions.

  • Train and educate users on existing or new processes and new features in IT systems.

  • Promote consistent and harmonized use of defined IT solutions across the organization

  • Analyze and verify reported issues in IT systems and describe them clearly to developers for further investigation

  • Maintain and adjust selected master data within defined systems and responsibilities

  • Cooperate with developers, service owners, and external partners to investigate and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Experience with system integrations, EDI, SQL, APIs is an advantage.

  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Experience with supply chain or sales processes is an advantage.

  • Experience within the Wood Products industry is an advantage.

  • Interest in learning technologies used in system integrations

  • English B2 and higher

This position is currently offered on an approximately two-year fixed-term contract.
