Process Automation Intern (6-month - HCMC)
1/ About the Role:
Join our Value-Added Services (VAS) department and play a key role in driving digitalization and process optimization initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, design automation solutions, and contribute to our continuous improvement journey. Logistics or customs knowledge is an advantage but not a must – full domain training will be provided
2/ Main Tasks:
• Collaborate with operational teams to review and analyze existing workflows and business processes
• Develop process maps, identify optimization opportunities, and propose improvement solutions
• Design and build automation solutions using tools such as Excel Macros/VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Automate, AI Co-pilot, or other approved platforms
• Support solution testing, deployment, user training, and post-implementation hypercare
• Create documentation including SOPs, user guides, and progress reports
• Coordinate with IT department on system integration requirements as needed
3/ Requirements:
• COMPULSORY: Students (NOT fresh graduates and still being students for at least 6 months) who can work full-time from Monday to Friday for 6 months, with 1–2 off-sessions per week for study, is acceptable
• Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in: Excel Macros/VBA, Power Query, Power Automate, Python, RPA tools, or AI-based productivity tools
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with ability to translate business processes into structured workflows
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently with guidance
• Good English skills (both speaking & writing)
Added Advantage:
• Experience with Power BI dashboards or data visualization tools
• Familiarity with process mapping methodologies (BPMN, flowcharting)
• Basic understanding of logistics, customs, or freight forwarding operations
• Portfolio of past automation or digitalization projects (academic or personal)
