In-Home Caregiver Needed:  Now Hiring CNAs & HHAs

💵 Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and case needs

🏡 About the Client

Our client is a 40-year-old man who is non-verbal and paralyzed resulting from a motor vehicle accident (MVA). He requires comprehensive assistance to safely and comfortably manage his daily routine. A nurse will be on shift for this case. 

🌟 Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• ADL Support: Provide full assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and positioning.
• Transfers: Safely assist with transfers via ceiling lift. Experience with safe transfer techniques is essential.
• G-Tube Care: Provide competent and professional care related to his G-Tube (gastrostomy tube).
• Nebulizer Care: Provide assistance with cough machine 3 times per day.
• Companionship & Observation: Offer supportive companionship and diligently observe for any changes in condition throughout the night.

We are hiring for one of the following day shifts:

• 9:00am- 9:00pm on Wednesday's and Saturday's 

🏡 About the Role

Centria caregivers provide essential in-home support to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, supporting their unique care needs.

✅ Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls
• Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
• Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
• Prepare light snacks or drinks upon request
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
• Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly
• Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
• Perform duties as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
• Monitor client’s physical and mental condition, intake/output, and exercise
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy care environment
• Follow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirements

📝 Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred
• Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired
• Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks
• Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs
• Comfortable working in a private home setting
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow all care protocols
• Ability to address minor medical concerns as they arise

✅ Documentation Requirements

To be eligible for employment, all caregivers must provide the following:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Current CPR Certification
• Clear Background Check
• Negative TB Test Results
• Proof of Auto Insurance (with your name listed on the policy)
